The restoration of the Penzance Jewish Cemetery began on Monday 13th April and will continue for several months. The work is being carried out by well known and experienced local builder, Mike Penaluna, who lives close to the cemetery. Work on a new door for the cemetery will be completed by Marc Jones, a local carpenter and joiner. During the restoration, the cemetery is closed to all visitors.
